Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of emotional, s exual or physical violence reported by women delivered at the University Ho spital Geneva, a tertiary care university teaching hospital, where about 30 00 women are delivered each year. This study showed that prevalence of viol ence against women is high, and is severely underestimated by health case p roviders.
