Abstract
Back injuries in young athletes affect growth tissues. Different sports pro duce distinct injury patterns. Acute and chronic injuries may produce debil itating problems. Immediate and long-term interventions are important to li mit further injury. An accurate diagnosis directs the appropriate care.
