Abstract
Monte-Carlo calculations of the order parameter and the string tension in S U(2) lattice gauge theory are performed. The parametrization of the group e lements of SU(2) used in our contribution differs from the standard one. Th e comparison with papers using standard parametrization is given and the ob tained results are discussed.
