Donor-acceptor characteristics of lignin-containing compounds

Adsorption-thermodynamic method of surface investigation involving molecula r test-adsorbates has been substantiated. Quantitative evaluation of electr on/proton donor and acceptor capacity at the surface of lignin-containing p owders (lignosulphonates) was carried out. Specific and non-specific differ ential adsorption heat figures were found to be correlated with polarisatio n of unicharged cations in the tested specimens.
