Abstract
The concept of the Pripyat Trough tectonogenesis is considered below. It is based on the formation of some plume-fluid energetic source tan asthenosph eric lense) which was formed in the asthenosphere beneath an ancient suture zone. Energy of the source is mainly spent for transformation of the subst ance in the lower part of the lithosphere into plastic state and also for f ormation of a basalt layer of melts at the level of eclogitisation; Stages of the Pripyat Trough formation are distinguished. Gravity field curves are shown for each stage. Described gravity field paleodynamics complicated ch anges of the field during the Trough formation.
