Abstract
Since Castleman and Towne [Castleman and Towne, Hyperplasia of mediastinal
lymph nodes, New Engl. J. Med. 250 (1954), 26-30] first described hyperplas
ia of the mediastinal lymph nodes in 1954, many cases of Castleman's diseas
e have been reported. Lesions originating in the spleen are extremely rare,
and we here describe the imaging appearances for such a case, and discuss
