Kn. Tepetes et al., Conversion of unresectable hepatoma to resectable. Report of a case and review of the literature, HEP-GASTRO, 47(34), 2000, pp. 1105-1109
One of the most important; reasons that hepatocellular carcinoma displays a
poor prognosis, is the low resectability rate at the time of the diagnosis
. In this study, we report a case of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma
converted to resectable after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization. In
addition a review of the literature is attempted.
