There are many factors to consider when reviewing the fact that the prognos

eason, we reviewed various articles regarding the diagnostic factors, treat
ment and prognostic factors including resection and laparoscopy, along with
modalities of treatment to establish the objectives for future development
s. We believe that as our population ages, we will see fundamental changes
in the factors, options and modalities of treatment for this lethal disease
. Public health efforts which are moving for the screening for early cancer
detection, a better understanding of the tumor biology and efforts to redu
ce the gap between the clinical practice and the scientific understanding m
ay ultimately reduce the burden of cancer in society.
