tatus of using the Internet in scholarly research in the field of education
on the eve of the millennium. The first section provides a brief summary o
f the concepts of learning theory. This section presents a cursory overview
of why educational activities, such as teaching and scholarly research, us

g theory. The second section briefly explains the current status of conduct
ing scholarly research in the field of education using the Internet and the
