Abstract
The phase diagram and thermodynamic data of the La-Sn (Lanthanum-Tin) syste m have been critically assessed by means of the computer program THERMO-CAL C. A set of self-consistent thermodynamic model parameters is presented to describe the phase equilibria of the La-Sn system. With the optimized model parameters, the La-Sn phase diagram and the thermodynamic properties agree well with respective experimental data. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
