Abstract
Intensive efforts are being devoted to improving the techniques of epi taxial growth, with the aim of increasing the quality of newly develop ed materials. The use of surfactants is one of the latest contribution s to this field. Surfactants can be used to modify the structure of ep itaxial films in a variety of ways. This article reviews our current k nowledge of this subject.
