Abstract
Self-assembled nanocrystalline dots of CdS grown within a ZnSe host have be en studied by steady state and transient optical spectroscopies. This mater ial system features an unusually low density of the dots, into which the ex citation transfer of excitons from the host has been identified. (C) 2000 A merican Institute of Physics.
