Abstract
Diastereoselective alkylations of acetoacetates of chiral inductors are rev iewed. The formed products are starting materials for the preparation of en antiomerically pure amino acids, 4,4-disubstituted 2-pyrazolin-5-ones, and of oxazoles and pyrazoles incorporating the chiral inductors.
