Abstract
A group of European recognized dermatologists - the European Working Group on the Diagnosis of Chronic Urticaria - met on 12 March 1999 to discuss bes t practice for assessing and diagnosing patients with chronic urticaria. Th ese are their recommendations. The recommendations will be valuable for the majority of cases, but are not exhaustive and may not include every possib le precipitating factor.
