I. Grosu, ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY OF A 2-DIMENSIONAL DISORDERED SYSTEM WITH AN EXPONENTIAL DENSITY-OF-STATES, Journal of superconductivity, 10(2), 1997, pp. 171-174
The electrical conductivity of a two-dimensional disordered system has
been calculated taking into consideration an exponential density of s
tates. The effect of backscattering has been calculated. For an expone
ntial density of states the diffusion pole has been removed. In the om
ega-->0 limit we showed that there exists a critical concentration tha
t corresponds to the transition point from the metallic to the insulat
ing phase.
