Abstract
The oxidation of chalcopyrite has been studied in pH 9.2 berate buffer solutions using voltammetry, photovoltammetry and XPS measurements wi th the aim of characterizing the nature of the films that cover the su rface. Taking into account the semiconducting properties of some oxida tion products and the chalcopyrite itself, it is possible to deduce th e presence of different species in the interval of potentials consider ed.
