A new RP-HPLC method has been described for the determination of N-(alpha-p
yridyl)phenothiazine and N-phenylphenothiazine from the photo-simulated S(R
N)1 reaction, using a mobile phase of methanol/tetrahydrofuran/water (72:6:
22 v/v) and a C-18-column. A UV wavelength of 254 nm was used. The linear r
anges were 0.05-0.7 mg/l. The R.S.D.s were smaller than 2.4%. (C) 2000 Else
