Abstract
Carbon fiber microelectrodes pretreated electrochemically exhibit highly el ectrochemical activity and show high sensitivity for determining of the neu rotransmitter-norepinephrine in the presence of high concentrations of asco rbic acid. The peak currents are a linear relationship with norepinephrine in the range of 639 x 10(-6)-1.06 x 10(-4) mol/l and the detection limit is up to 2.0 x 10(-6) mol/l. All analytical processes can be performed withou t deaeration. It is possible to use the electrochemically pretreated carbon fiber microelectrodes in determining norepinephrine in vivo directly.
