Abstract
Reaction of [Cp*RhCl2](2) (1) with (LiNH)(2)C10H6-2,3 gives the mononuclear species Cp*Rh(NH)(2)C10H6-2,3 (3), which is selectively converted to the a mido-bridged dinuclear Rh(III) complex [Cp*Rh{mu(2)-(NH)(2)C10H6-2,3}(mu(2) -Cl)RhCp*]PF6 (4; Cp* = eta(5)-C5Me5) upon treatment with 1/AgPF6 in aceton e. The molecular structure of 4 has been determined by X-ray crystallograph y.
