Abstract
The detwinning in YBa2Cu3O7-delta films grown on vicinal SrTiO3 (001)-subst rates has been studied as a function of the vicinal miscut angle by X-ray d iffraction using the two-dimensional q-scan technique. The investigated ani sotropic strain at the interface between substrate and film is strongly cor related with the detwinning in the film. This observation is in good agreem ent with the here presented strain-minimizing model. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scie nce B.V. All rights reserved.
