Abstract
This paper presents the DLR-TOOLKIT software environment designed to proces
s polarimetric and Doppler weather radar data of POLDIRAD. In addition it i
ntegrates BISTATIC Doppler radar wind data. The large amount of information
and radar-meteorological moments generated by the multi-polarization Doppl
er radar in conjunction with the bistatic radar receivers represents a grea
t challenge for data processing with respect to performance and data quanti
