Abstract
The thermodynamic transition in the C-60 crystals subjected to uniaxial com pression at different temperatures and heat treatment has been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The kinetic parameters of the irreversible endothermic "quenching" effect are determined. It is revealed that the process is accompanied by the cooperative molecular motion, which is characteristic of the high-lasticity state of organic glasses. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka /Interperiodica".
