A technique to measure turbulent vorticity flux was developed and meas
urements were carried out of vorticity flux components u(i)OMEGA(j) an
d corresponding crosspectra, as well as crosspectra between vorticity
OMEGA(i) and temperature T. The highest correlation was found between
u3 and OMEGA2, their spectral correlation coefficient r in the frequen
cy range 0.01-1 cps exceeded 0.6. Rather high was the correlation betw
een u1 and OMEGA2 (0.3 < r < 0.5). Similarly are correlated OMEGA2 and
T. Pairs of components u3 and OMEGA1, u2 and OMEGA3 were found to be
almost uncorrelated. The results obtained have been compared with some
theoretical predictions.
