Abstract
The assimilation algorithm of the sea level data in three-dimensional nonlinear numerical circulation model is proposed. The algorithm is ba sed on a simplified variant of the Kalman filter. Numerical model expe riments on reconstruction of hydrophysical fields in the Tropical zone of Atlantic ocean are carried out with discrete in the space and time data. The analysis of reconstruction errors is presented.
