Abstract
Transformation of nonlinear long internal waves is considered in the o cean with horizontally inhomogeneous density and depth. A simple deriv ation of generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation with additional terms responsible for horizontal inhomogeneities is proposed. Results of num erical model calculations of the internal waves dynamics in the coasta l and deep water zones of the Black See are given.
