Yearly averages of dynamical parameters of the solar wind and interplanetar
y magnetic field, as well as their determination errors, are obtained from
the data of an electronic version of King's catalog. With these data in use
, 11-year cycles of all the characteristics of the interplanetary plasma an
d their connection with cycles of different solar magnetic fields were anal
yzed. Differences in the cycles of principal characteristics of the interpl
anetary medium are demonstrated by this analysis. Attention was given to sy
stematic errors in determination of plasma density before the beginning of
the 1970s and to the inadequacy of variations in the vector of the initial
interplanetary magnetic field and its components.
