Abstract
Studies have been made on the effects of the characteristic (acoustic) impedance of the protector composite, the damping in it, and the thic kness of the protector on the parameters of the frequency spectra and longitudinal-wave pulses radiated by a circular straight probe. Exampl es are given of calculations on the spectra and pulses for protectors made of expoxide resin with various proportions of tungsten.
