The integral form of Maxwell's equations for problems with initial con
ditions and for a steady harmonic regime is presented. It is shown tha
t there is an unambiguous solution of these integral equations for non
-magnetic solids and sufficient conditions of unambiguous solvability
in a general case - magnetic and conducting solids - is shown. It is e
stablished that the inverse problem is solved ambiguously in a general
case. An example in which uniqueness exists in the inverse problem is
presented.
