Abstract
Information technology in general, and the Internet in particular, pre sent both opportunities and challenges to business schools. While a nu mber of institutions stand out as having creatively integrated technol ogy into their curricula, current data indicate that the majority of h igher educational institutions in North America are still searching fo r direction. This article describes a real-world case study of a pilot program for introducing and leveraging instructional technology via n otebook/mobile computing. A primary objective of this paper is to prov ide stimulus for thinking about how business schools can implement inf ormation technology to improve pedagogy and strengthen their position in the increasingly competitive world of business education.
