Abstract
Since peptide quinones possess great clinical potential in targeted chemoth erapy, several series of novel N-quinonyl amino acids have been synthesized and their first products of reduction were studied by EPR spectroscopy. EP R spectra of the corresponding radical adducts were identified by computer simulation. The dependence between the splitting constants and the chemical structure of the N-quinonyl amino acids anion radicals was examined.
