Abstract
A new Scolebythidae Eobythus patriciae gen. nov., sp, nov. is described. fr om the Lowermost Eocene amber of the Oise Valley (France). A first attempt at a phylogenetic analysis suggests that the fossil genera Eobythus gen, no v. and Libanobythus Prentice et al. (1996) would constitute an original cla de not directly related to the three modern scolebythid genera.
