Abstract
The effect of different growth temperatures on the production of 11 extrace llular enzymes was studied in nine cold-adapted bacterial strains isolated from various cold environments. Ten of these enzymes displayed temperature- dependent production. Five different temperature-related production pattern s were identified, which depended on neither the type of strain, nor the na ture of the enzyme.
