Abstract
The first direct nucleophilic addition under mild reaction conditions of he terocyclic compounds to conjugated azoalkenes is reported. This reaction re adily gives rise to new conjugated azodiene or asymmetric 4,4'-bipyrazole d erivatives by means of two independent pathways.
