Abstract
Measurement the overburden deformation and failure caused by underground mi ning may provide reliable guidance for mining design and safe production. T his paper deals with the similar conditions and the practicability of simul ation experiment, makes the dynamic measurement of the electric field chara cteristics changes of overburden at different mining stages, makes inversio n with the experiment data and uncovers the response of resistivity to over burden deformation and failure. The experimental results indicate that the overburden deformation and failure cause the electric characteristics chang e of strata, the response characteristic of resistivity changes vary with t he failure degree in different failure zones.
