Abstract
A new directional coupler with a frequency control circuit and parallel LC
resonator is presented. An exact analysis for a variable directional couple
r is derived. Changing the resonance frequency of the parallel resonator fo
r the proposed directional coupler can provide tunable frequency characteri
stics and a wide operating frequency range.
