Abstract
Simultaneous optical regeneration of four 200GHz-spaced 40Gbit/s channels i n a single polarisation-insensitive InP Mach-Zehnder modulator is demonstra ted by means of a dense WDM loop transmission over 10,000km, yielding spect ral efficiency of 0.27(bit/s)/Hz.
