Abstract
The authors report on investigation of the effect of coherent crosstalk in a newly fabricated 16 x 16-channel uniform-loss and cyclic-frequency arraye d-waveguide grating (ULCF-AWG), and its application to a 16 x 16 interconne ction network. Its low-crosstalk and uniform-loss characteristics is confir med and the potential for 48 x 48-channel interconnection is demonstrated.
