Realisation of a combustion pilot using a circulating fluidised bed of coal.

We present here the processes which led to the realization of a pilot of co mbustion in a Circulating Fluidized bed allowing to treat various fuels. To meet this aim, a pilot functional analysis of the needs was conducted in o rder to determine the schedule of conditions as close as possible to the ex pectations of the laboratory. This pilot had to be modular to carry out var ious combustions such as coal and household refuse. The first results conce rning the combustion of coal are also presented, which show that this pilot is perfectly functional.
