This paper presents a channel estimation and a DC-offset estimation techniq
ues, and two error control method in a short-ranged Bluetooth system. Each
of the Bluetooth devices in the connection state knows the access codes use
d in the ad-hoc networks, which is utilized as a reference signal for the p
arameter estimation. Also, the access correlation output can help the error
correction schemes of the Bluetooth networks because the correlation outpu
t reflects the channel radio environments. The proposed estimators can be i
mplemented without degradation of frame and spectral efficiency thanks to u
sing the access code specified for the Bluetooth system.
