Abstract
Inverted papilloma of the urinary bladder is rare in the pediatric populati on. Despite several reports in the literature the prognostic significance a nd biological potential behavior of this lesion remain uncertain. The autho rs report a case of polypoid inverted papilloma of the urinary bladder in a n 11-year-old boy and review its pathology. The pediatric population with t his lesion is an ideal group to provide intense, long-term follow-up to def ine the biological behavior and prognosis significance of this lesion.
