Abstract
The concept and the major features of the Liquid-Phase Polymer-Based Retent ion (LPR) separation are outlined. The fundamentals of the metal ion intera ction with respect to enrichment and separation procedures are developed an d the role of complex-forming polymeric agents is discussed. The scope, maj or advancements, and typical application examples based on metal complexes are highlighted.
