Abstract
New cyclic imino ether monomers, functionalized with acetylacetoxy, acetyla cetamide, or acetylacetanilide moieties are described for the first time. T hese monomers readily form metal complexes. Also, it is shown that these mo nomers may be cationically homo- or copolymerized with other cyclic imino e thers, to provide polymers having metal complexing ability. The monomers ha ve potential applications in a wide variety of applications.
