Abstract
This paper summarizes key elements that support the success of clinical pha rmacy services to continuously improve the quality of drug therapy Five dri vers identify a successful model for continuously demonstrating the value o f clinical pharmacy services. knowing the organizational culture; providing leadership; recruiting pharmacy sponsors; showing tenacity; and acting wit h management courage. Difficulties encountered when communicating the value of clinical pharmacy services within a health care organization usually ar ise because of failure to include one of these drivers.
