Intermittent dynamical control

This paper describes the method of synchronizing slave to the master trajec tory using intermittent coupling. The information about master trajectory i s limited only to the coordinates and timings of intersection points of tha t trajectory with the arbitrarily chosen Poincare section, making the coupl ing sporadic. The application of the method is first exemplified on the two identically coupled Rossler and Lorenz oscillators, and then is extended t o the case when the two Rossler oscillators exhibit initially different dyn amical properties (different values of the control parameters).
