We consider driven heterostructures involving both homogeneous potential mo
dulation and dipole-type modulation regions, which can properly model exper
imental devices. Numerical results agree with photon-assisted-tunneling exp
eriments. We observe the experimentally detectable bound-state-induced dyna
mic transmission resonances. Applications in quantum measurements and quant
um switching devices are discussed.
