Abstract
The tetrahydroanthraquinones (1S,3S)-austrocortilutein (4) and (1S,3S)-aust rocortirubin (7) are octaketides formed in the fruit bodies of the fungus D ermocybe splendida via the gentiobioside 2 of the dihydroanthracenone (S)-t orosachrysone (1). (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
