Abstract
Thermal decomposition of calcium chromates and solid state reactions of bar ium and strontium chromates(VI) with barium and strontium hydroxides and ca rbonates, as well as the reduction of chromates by carbon and hydrogen, hav e been investigated. The mechanisms of individual stages of the thermal dec omposition have been proposed on the basis of the morphological classificat ion.
