THERMODYNAMICS OF EXTREME STATES OF MATTER

Discussed is the current state of investigation of thermodynamic prope rties of matter at extremely high pressure and temperature with the us e of dynamic methods. The generalization of available experimental and theoretical information is given in a form of the multi-phase wide-ra nge equation of state. Topical problem of the physics of high pressure s, high temperatures are discussed on the example of description of th e phase diagrams for selected metals.
