Abstract
Reactions of 2-chloro-1-cyano-2-trifluoromethylethylenes with 2-aminopyridi nes were studied. According to the data of NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffr action analysis, the first stage of the reaction involves alkenylation of t he exocyclic nitrogen atom of 2-aminopyridines followed by formation of pyr ido[1,2-a]pyrimidines.
