The crystal structure of antimony(III) fluoride of the composition TlSb2F7
has been determined. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 12.335(4), b = 19.468
(7), c = 8.831(3) Angstrom, beta = 96.55(3)degrees, V = 2107(1) Angstrom(3)
, Z = 12, p(calcd) = 5.494 g/cm(3), p(exp) = 5.48 g/cm(3), F(000) = 2952, s
pace group P2(1)/c. The structure consists of Tl+ cations and hexanuclear c
yclic [Sb6F21](3-) anions, The ionic and secondary Sb-F bonds combine the s
tructural elements into a three-dimensional framework.
